Staying In

I love the way things come full circle. For awhile, all anyone wanted to do was meet up at the newest club or bar. I have to say, in a city like Phoenix, we have plenty of amazing spots from which to choose. And things are set up nicely for us in this warm-weather gem of a city. We can leave the car parked and hop on our beach cruiser or scooter and head to the pub. But there is something else happening that’s pretty exciting. There is a new excitement surrounding staying in. It almost sounds indulgent, doesn’t it? Luxurious even. I think hard-working folks are appreciating their homes and tapping into them for their entertaining potential. From fancy dinners to cozy, casual gatherings, my peeps are staying in more than ever. There are TONS of ideas out there for creating a memorable gathering; indoors or out, fancy or not.

In the spirit of entertaining, Decorhate is featuring an exciting home decor concept

to the Phoenix area.

The vision of Ana and Brian Wells, UrbAna will be a go-to for sophisticated entertaining-ware and accessories with a more than subtle urban sensibility. Inspired by a nostalgic journey through the entertaining diaries of Brian’s grandmother Hazel, the couple is on a mission to inspire others to entertain with a quiet elegance reminiscent of those recorded memories.

Ana’s own amazing sense of style will no doubt imbue UrbAna with a freshness we’re all craving here in town!  When I asked Ana what will inform the product assortment for their shop, she was lovely to share some of her favorite inspiration images with me. ENJOY!
